The 1934 Goudey Big Thrill Booklets (R24) are among the rarest and most intriguing early non-sport issues of the Great Depression era, produced as small, comic-style booklets rather than traditional cards. Each booklet features dramatic illustrated adventure scenes-often involving aviation, crime, or exotic peril-paired with serialized storytelling that reflects the pulp-fiction sensibilities of the 1930s.
