That same year, the blockbuster film Batman Returns inspired both the 1992 Stadium Club Batman Returns set-with its premium photography and glossy TCG-style card stock-and the more traditional 1992 Topps Batman Returns series, which delivered colorful movie scenes, character shots, and sticker inserts. The momentum continued with 1993 SkyBox DC Cosmic Teams, spotlighting iconic groups such as the Justice League, Teen Titans, and Legion of Super-Heroes through dynamic artwork and team-focused subsets. Culminating the era, 1994 SkyBox DC Master Series elevated DC card collecting to an artistic showcase, featuring fully painted illustrations by top fantasy and comic artists that presented the DC Universe with dramatic, museum-quality flair.
