Marilyn Monroe Arriving on Goodwill Tour for U.S. Troops, Daegu Air Force Base (USAG Daegu), Daegu International Airport, South Korea, February 1954, Original Press Photograph. PSA/DNA Type 1. Vintage gelatin silver matte double-weight 10" x 8" press photograph of Marilyn Monroe arriving for Goodwill Tour for U.S. Troops, Daegu Air Force Base (USAG Daegu), Daegu International Airport, South Korea, shortly after the Armistice, February 1954, performing ten shows in four days, as a detour during her honeymoon in Japan with husband Joe DiMaggio, by U.S. Air Force still photographer. Monroe is first seen wearing a 6147th B-15 Tactical Control Group jacket, which was standard issue for aircrew and pilots after 1943, loaned by Hilda Benning, the friend of military escort Ollie Palmer.
