Description
Octopussy (EON, 1983), Group of Storyboards for Nene Valley Chase Scene. Original group of (3) storyboards accomplished in graphite on paper depicting scenes from the Nene Valley Railway chase scene, including (1) displaying James Bond's (Roger Moore) car screeching towards a rail crossing with sparks flying, (1) of an armored truck on the side of the road, and (1) close-up of sparks flying out from the car in the first storyboard. Corresponding paste-ups below each illustration detail the shots, with each marked successively "349" "350" and "351", indicating three quick cuts for the scene, marked "18" in white graphite on the top righthand corner. With handwritten "OCTOPUSSY" in pencil on the verso. Illustrations measure 9.25" x 3.5" and are glued to a black cardstock board measuring 32" x 7". Paste-ups glued beneath each illustration. Items exhibit signs of wear and handling, including ungluing to several corners of the illustrations and bumped corners, stain spots, and rubbing to both illustrations and cardstock. Adhesive residue present on verso from prior mounting. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.Heritage Auctions provides as much information as possible but strongly encourages in-person inspection.
