Rush (MGM, 1991), Poster Final Key Art by Matthew Peak. Original final key art by Matthew Joseph Peak for the poster of 1991's Rush, using neon green and dark orange highlights amidst swirls of blue to capture the drug-fueled spirit of the crime film starring Jennifer Jason Leigh and Jason Patric as two undercover police officers whose weak morals find them romantically entwined and hooked on drugs while trying to take down a local crime boss played by Gregg Allman. Accomplished with airbrush, pastel, and gouache on 32" x 40" artist's board. Signed by the artist on the recto. Exhibits signs of handling and wear, including bumped corners, edgewear, and pinhole remnants. The poster image is for reference only and is not included with this lot. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
