Star Trek: First Contact (Paramount, 1996), Alice Krige "Borg Queen" Original Costume Sketch. Original costume design sketch measuring 14" x 17" on Bristol paper and realized in graphite ink and gouache. Designed by the films Head Costume Designer, Deborah Everton, and illustrated by the Senior Sketch Artist, Gina A. Flanagan, the piece features the villainous Borg Queen (Alice Krige) posing in front of a geometrically patterned background. Both Everton and Flanagan signed the piece along the bottom edges of the illustration. The second film to feature The Next Generation's cast of characters and the directorial debut of Jonathan Frakes, who also portrays First Officer William Riker, First Contact was a critical and financial success for the franchise and is considered to be one of the best Star Trek films to date. Everton's unique and futuristic designs for First Contact would receive the 1997 Saturn Award for Best Costumes. Exhibits handling wear and age with water damage across the top right corner including paper loss. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
