Cinefantastique Magazine (Volume 22, Issue 3), John Hanley Original Cover Artwork from Star Trek: The Original Series 25th Anniversary. Original cover artwork by John Hanley for the December 1993 issue of Cinefantastique magazine, depicting characters from both Star Trek: The Original Series and Star Trek: The Next Generation including Data (Brent Spiner), Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Sir Patrick Stewart), Captain Kirk (William Shatner), and Spock (Leonard Nimoy), set against a purple-shaded Starfleet logo with the original USS Enterprise flying in the background. Rendered in mixed media with Conté crayon highlights on 27" x 22" illustration board to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original series. Hanley is known for his vivid and detailed contributions to science fiction and fantasy illustration, with cover and concept art for franchises like Star Trek, Star Wars, and The X-Files. The item has been signed by William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, and Brent Spiner on the reverse. Signed by the artist in the bottom right corner. Exhibits age, fading, bumped corners, and paint bleed around the edges, possibly from removed masking tape around the border.
