Errol Flynn Signed Check (1946). Vintage original framed and matted display featuring a reprinted The Adventures of Robin Hood poster measuring 9" x 13.5" with check displayed in protective case measuring 12.5" x 5.5", dated June 19, 1946 and signed "Errol Flynn" in black ink. Check is made "to the order of" Nora Eddignton Flynn, the actor's second wife whom he married in 1944 and divorced in 1949. Selected by the Library of Congress in 1995 for preservation by the National Film Registry, The Adventures of Robin Hood is undoubtedly Flynn's most famous role, and his portrayal remains the benchmark for the heroic outlaw who steals from the rich to give to the poor. Display is presented with red matting in a slim black glass-front frame measuring 14" x 22". Exhibits minor signs of handling. Unexamined out of frame.
