Allman Brothers Band Signed Director's Chair (1998). Original wood and canvas director's chair from the Allman Brothers Band's September 19, 1998 performance at Great Woods Amphitheatre in Mansfield, MA., featuring signatures from the band to the chairback in black, blue, and red felt tip including Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, Butch Trucks, Jack Pearson, Marc Quinones, Oteil [Burbridge], and Jaimoe. Both sides of the chairback feature the band's logo in silkscreened black ink, with side opposing signatures featuring silkscreened text in rainbow colors reading, "LIVE FROM GREAT WOODS / ONLY ON PAY-PER-VIEW / END OF SUMMER PEACH PARTY". The beloved American blues and rock band was started by Gregg and Duane Allman in 1969, before dissolving in 1976 following internal turmoil and Duane's premature death in 1971. They reformed in 1989 and toured extensively during the 1990s. Both wood and canvas components exhibiting expected wear and handling with some rubbing and soiling present to the canvas chairback.
