Batman (TCF TV, 1966-1968), Batmobile Remote Control Toy. 1:8 scale hand-built remote control Batmobile modeled after the iconic vehicle originally envisioned by master car designer, George Barris, and reproduced here in cast plastic and acrylic with detailed elements including miniature Batphone, fire extinguisher, siren, and rubber wheels faithfully recreating the zooty utility vehicle used by Batman (Adam West) and Robin (Burt Ward) in pursuit of their foes in the original television series. The exterior is painted black with bright red trim and hand-painted details to the miniature components. Undercarriage contains an array of batteries and wiring to the rubber tires, indicating a remote control function to the hand-crafted vehicle, though remote is not present and electronics are untested. Body measures 27" x 10" and exhibits signs of age and wear including signs of repair and exposed glue and tape to undercarriage, and some paint scuffs with majority of body well-preserved.
