Jackie Gleason Coloring Book and Accompanying Original Art (Abbott, 1956). Vintage original group of (9) items including (8) 8" x 11" preliminary artworks accomplished in black felt tip, pencil, and mixed media on cardstock and used as proofs for a children's coloring book, featuring cartoon renditions of Jackie Gleason in various comedic scenarios such as swimming in front of a giant whale and playing badminton, with handwritten label "Gleason 2570" to each sheet and mock accompanying text to 3- sheets reading, "Jackie is working hard at the gym" to one, "It's not a cricket, it's croquet!" to another, and "One of these days, POW!" to a third, along with (1) final version of the "Jackie Gleason Funny TV Coloring Book", measuring 11" x 12" and unused, with yellow cover featuring Gleason in his yellow and red plaid hat and with inside pages unmarred. Exhibiting signs of age and wear commensurate with items of this age, including toning to the coloring book and 1- .75" tear to cover page, with preliminary works in well-preserved condition with some bumped corners, tape residue, and soiling from artist's use.
