The Flintstones (Universal, 1994), Group of Signature Costumes. Original group of (4) custom-made character costumes from the 1994 film version of The Flintstones, including (1) Fred (John Goodman) signature tan and sabretooth-print chamois-like knee-length tunic with integral stamped snakeskin-patterned turquoise collar and matching turquoise clip-on leather tie, with snap and Velcro back closure, retaining interior handwritten, "Fred #1", (1) Barney (Rick Moranis) signature brown suede leather knee-length tunic with open lace-up front closure and hidden angled-zipper front closure, (1) Wilma (Elizabeth Perkins) signature white faux leather single-strap dress with side lace bodice and irregular hem, with interior stamped "73" in black, and (1) Betty (Rosie O'Donnell) signature blue suede-like dress with halter-style top, zipper-back closure, and irregular hemline, retaining internal handwriting, "Sc. 112", indicating the scene of the film it was worn for, with accompanying blue faux leather collar with irregular neckline and Velcro closure retaining costumer's external black ink handwriting, "Sc. 80B". The film was a live-action and animation hybrid, with digital effects provided by both Jim Henson's Creature Shop and Industrial Light & Magic, and was a box office hit that grossed upwards of $340M on a $40M budget. All items exhibiting production wear and age commensurate with production use including staining to the Wilma and Betty costumes. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
