Laverne & Shirley (ABC TV, 1976-1983), Penny Marshall "Laverne DeFazio" Waitress Uniform Ensemble. Vintage original waitress uniform consisting of a beige-colored short-sleeved cotton uniform dress with brown spread collar and sleeve cuffs, brown front-closure buttons, 2- hip pockets, and signature large "L" initial sewn over left-breast pocket in mauve-colored felt fabric, retaining internal Angelica maker's label stamped, "Property of Paramount Pictures Ladies Wardrobe" to top. Also includes a matching caplet to complete the waitress look. Alongside Shirley Feeney (Cindy Williams), Laverne & Shirley followed the lives and antics of two best friends who work as bottle-cappers at the fictitious Shotz Brewery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The show, initially a spin-off of ABC's Happy Days, was a network smash that topped ratings charts and lasted nine seasons.
