Richard Corben - "Vic and Blood: The Chronicles of a Boy and His Dog" #2 Wraparound Cover Original Art (Mad Dog Graphics, 1988). Richard Corben's wraparound cover conjures a desolate wasteland, his signature textures and deep shadows amplifying the post-apocalyptic despair. First serialized in Heavy Metal in 1980, his adaptation of Harlan Ellison's novella captures the eerie bond between a scavenging survivor and his telepathic dog, Blood, in a world where survival demands ruthless instinct. This issue contained the original "A Boy and His Dog" short story along with "Run, Spot, Run". Created in Ink and white paint highlights over graphite with an image area of 19.5" x 10.5"; glass-front framed to 31.5" x 26". Exhibits light handling. Unexamined out of frame.
