Batman (TCF TV, 1966-1968), Burgess Meredith "Penguin" Silk Jockey Shirt. Vintage original horse racing jockey shirt from the Season 3, Episode 5, "Horse of Another Color", constructed of a custom-made black silk long-sleeved shirt with an attached crème silk unique fold point-collar, chest panel, and cuffs, and clusters of unique sewn-on rounds with crème felt panels featuring printed penguins to front and back, with hidden 4- button front closure. Retaining internal Western Costume studio stamp. Exhibiting production wear and age including fading to printed penguins and some toning to the crème silk embellishments. In this episode, the Penguin attempts to rig a horse race with a wager of stolen money, only to have Batman (Adam West) and Batgirl (Yvonne Craig) spoil his plans. This costume piece has been in the collections of two important collectors of Hollywood memorabilia, John Azarian and Dr. Stewart Berkowitz.
