Hellboy II: The Golden Army (Universal, 2008), Human Soldier, Raven Guard, and Elf Soldier Scanning Puppets from Opening Prologue. Trio of original maquettes digitally scanned for the animated prologue narrated by Young Hellboy's adoptive father Professor Trevor Bruttenholm (John Hurt) who tells the story of the ancient war between humans and elves and the genesis of the Golden Army. Each maquette is beautifully crafted of resin made to appear like carved wooden posable puppets (puppets are static), expertly painted and detailed by hand. Each maquette is mounted on its original wooden production base and stands approximately 16.5" tall (width ranges from 10" to 15"). Figures exhibit production wear with evidence of studio repair in areas, particularly where the Raven Guard grips his sword. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
