Description
Hellboy II: The Golden Army (Universal, 2008), Two-Page Storyboard Sequence Artwork from the Final Golden Army Showdown. Original two-page storyboard sequence artwork from the climactic battle in Hellboy II: The Golden Army, each measuring 8.25" x 11.75" and featuring hand-rendered graphite and ink illustrations on photocopied template pages. Attributed to production storyboard artists, the sequence visualizes the large-scale final confrontation between Hellboy (Ron Perlman), the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (B.P.R.D.) team-Abe Sapien (Doug Jones), Liz Sherman (Selma Blair), and Johann Krauss (voiced by Seth MacFarlane)-and the massive, newly-reawakened mechanical Golden Army. The panels capture the scale and intensity of the battle, with detailed framing of key character movements, and the overwhelming numbers of the Golden Army. A fascinating glimpse into the planning behind one of the film's most visually-complex sequences. Pages exhibit minor edgewear, light creasing, and faint paperclip impressions at the upper left corners. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
