Farrah Fawcett (Pro Arts, 1976), Personally Owned "The" Poster. Original iconic "The" Farrah Fawcett poster from 1976 featuring her in a red one-piece swimsuit. One of the best-selling posters of all time, with over 12 million copies sold, Fawcett reportedly wore her own swimsuit for the shoot. The immediate popularity of the poster is said to have helped skyrocket her career, which included starring roles in the 1976 television series Charlie's Angels and the film Logan's Run. The poster's simple yet captivating composition, with Fawcett's windswept hair and radiant smile, has become an enduring symbol of the 1970s era. Measures 20" x 28". Exhibits display and handling wear including fold lines and minor scuffing throughout. The poster is sealed in a Collectables Authentication Guaranty (CAG) plastic sleeve with serial number "1000197-007" certifying it as coming directly from Farrah Fawcett's personal collection.
