The Rolling Stones "Rock 'N' Roll Circus" Golden VIP Invite (1968). Vintage original VIP invite to the recording of the Rolling Stones' concert film, "The Rolling Stones' Rock 'N' Roll Circus". Measuring 5" x 3", the card invite with gold foil image of a striding elephant to one side, a blanket over its back with the event title. Verso with printed details reading "You are invited to the / Rolling Stones' Rock and Roll Circus / on Wednesday, 11th December, 1968 / at the Studios of Intertel Television, / Wycombe Road, Wembley, Middlesex. / Nearest tube: Stonebridge Park / (Bakerloo line) / 18.30-23.00 / Costumes Provided", with printed agreement of the filming's copyright, inscribed in blue ink "Start 6.30" and signed by attendee Eileen O'Neill. Exhibits light toning, blemish or stain marks to the gold foil, and minor nicks to the card edges. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
