Terminator 2: Judgment Day (Carolco, 1991), Arnold Schwarzenegger Life-Size "T-800" Display Figure by Stan Winston Studio. Life-sized display figure constructed of cast polyfoam over an internal armature, metalized resin, rubber and actual metal components. The "T-800" (Arnold Schwarzenegger) likeness features hand-knotted laced wig pieces and prosthetic-grade glass eyes. Dressed in signature biker leathers, boots, web bandolier, and 1-reproduction rubber M79 grenade launcher, complete the dramatic display. Individually constructed by the legendary Stan Winston Studio, the creators of the original screen characters and special effects. Measures approx. 75" x 26" x 12" and stands on a 19.5" x 30" wooden base. M70 grenade launcher measures 28" x 5" with a 30" nylon sling. This is the T-800 as seen during the climactic finale of the film and at the height of distress and trauma with torn clothing, bullet holes, shrapnel wounds, and parts of his body and half his face torn away to reveal underlying tissue and exposed endoskeleton components. Exhibits extensive display wear, intentional studio distressing, age, discoloration and deterioration to the latex components with extensive scuffing to the endoskeleton components. An additional wire hanging from the right leg suggests that this model originally lit up at some point. Electronics untested. Provenance: Obtained from Stan Winston Studios.
