Description
Countess Dracula (Hammer Film Productions, 1971), Ingrid Pitt "Countess Elisabeth Nádasdy" Annotated Personal Script. Vintage original 96-page (as paginated) screenplay for Countess Dracula dated "1.6.1971", measuring 8.5" X 11", bound and bradded with a windowed yellow cover and multi-colored revision pages. Originally owned by the horror film's lead, Ingrid Pitt, who portrays the murderess Countess Elisabeth Nádasdy, the script contains handwritten personal annotations throughout in blue and black ink, including a missing page 40, which Pitt transcribed on the blank backing of page 39. Also included is a white printout of the page that has been placed inside the script. Pitt's work with Hammer Films Productions, which started with 1970's The Vampire Lovers, solidified the budding actress as a cult horror icon. She would continue to work with Hammer throughout the 1970s including starring roles in horror classics The House That Dripped Blood (1971) and the critically acclaimed The Wicker Man (1973). Exhibits expected age and wear, with slight page discoloration, rounded page edges, and minor scuffs and tears throughout. The poster image is for reference only and is not included with this lot.
