Macho Callahan (Avco Embassy, 1970), Jean Seberg "Alexandra Mountford" Pink Costume Ensemble. Vintage original (3) piece costume ensemble including (1) rose taffeta gown with fuchsia brocade and velvet trim at the neck and sleeves and ornate crochet collar, with cotton inner lining and zipper and hook-and-eye rear closure with faux button outer closure, retaining internal Berman Costume Co. label, (1) rose velvet dress coat with matching fuchsia brocade and faux knot brocades at sleeve and center rear, with rear hook-and-eye closure, and (1) light rose velvet dress hat with organza floral motif. Jean Seberg plays Alexandra Mountford, the vengeful widow of David Mountford (David Carradine), who pursues her husband's killer, Diego Callahan (David Janssen) through Confederate Texas, ultimately falling in love with him. Items exhibit signs of production use, wear, and age, including stains on the front side of the gown, toning to the crochet, stains and soiling on the dress coat, and shape loss and soiling on the dress hat.
