Star Trek: The Next Generation (Paramount, 1987-1994), Rick Sternbach Original Concept Artwork for Borg Tech Designs. Original group of (13) concept artworks by Rick Sternbach for Borg tech designs on 17" x 11" artist's leaf, including (1) design for the Borg ship interior, (1) design for a Detention Cell Surveillance Sensor, (1) Borg Phaser, (1) Borg Bed, (1) Borg Chip Implanter, and (8) designs for the Borg Plant-On. Designs are accomplished in black felt-tip and ink with computer-generated elements and occasional paste-ups and 1-with color felt-tip. Several leaves contain episode references, including Surveillance Sensor from Season 5, Episode 23, "I, Borg", and Phaser from Season 6, Episode 26, "Decent". Many contain handwritten annotations and specifications for fabricating the devices. Exhibiting expected signs of handling and wear, including foxing, bumped corners, and edgewear, tape, and occasional white-out from the artist's editing process. Several were signed and dated, ranging from 1990 to 1993. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
