Plymouth Adventure (MGM, 1952), Collection of (150+) Pre-Production Photos of Storyboard Art. Collection of more than 150-black and white pre-production photographs of storyboard artwork and still photography housed in (2) 3-ring binders measuring 11.5" x 9.75". Attributed to special effects artist A. Arnold "Buddy" Gillespie. Plymouth Adventure told the story of the Mayflower's journey across the Atlantic to the New World and starred Spencer Tracy and Gene Tierney. Most of the photographs are of storyboards and include scene numbers and details. One of the binders has "Bud Gillespie" written on the inside cover. Photos exhibit age and handling, and some have torn loose. The metal spines of the binders is rusted and the fabric is compromised. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
