Bruce Springsteen (Child) 1969 New Jersey "Birthquake" Concert Poster. An original beige-paper concert poster for no less than The Boss, Bruce Springsteen, playing in his late-60's New Jersey band which he called Child for a short while (before morphing it into Steel Mill). This poster advertised Child playing at the Pandemonium club in Ocean, NJ on Tuesday night, July 15, 1969.

"It's a Birthquake with Child!" the poster proclaims, with a picture of the group - including founding E Street Band member Danny Federici - standing in front of legendary dancer Fred Astaire. This poster's almost too good to be true - but it is. Simply a terrific before-they-were-famous concert poster with a great picture, type fonts, that headline up top, and just a few miles from Asbury Park... you could scarcely ask for more. It would be six years before the world finally find out who Bruce was with the 1975 release of Born to Run.

More Information: The lower left corner has a super-mild 1 ½" diagonal corner crease which we wouldn't have spotted except on the verso it caught a little dirt and so was visible. Poster also has just a tiny tiny amount of surface grime here & there, and some general very light overall handling, nothing of significance.
