The Rolling Stones 1966 Sacramento, CA Concert Poster Photographed for The Art of Rock (AOR-67). An original concert poster, printed in red ink on orange card stock, for those bad boys of rock 'n' roll, The Rolling Stones, playing two shows at the Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento, California on Friday night, July 22, 1966.

Anyone who consults The Art of Rock regularly will find this poster strangely familiar. That's because this exact poster was used in the AOR in B&W and mixed in with one of the essay sections. That oval-shaped damage over "July" makes it unique and unmistakable.

More Information: The poster once had an oval sticker placed on the word "July," which resulted in quite a ‘tape lift' when it came off. Someone took a red marker and colored back in what was lifted off the word "July." Besides that, there's no way to get around it: this small but important poster is riddled with pinholes, creases, surface dirt & blemishing, and tape lifts throughout. We seldom run a poster in this condition, but this has the magical one-two punch of the Rolling Stones and the Art of Rock... and it's maybe the only one that still exists.
