Michonne (Danai Gurira), Hero Katana and Sheath from The Walking Dead (AMC 2010-2022). Original Hero katana featuring a dull metal blade with biohazard engraving on both sides of the blade near the brass habaki neck, brushed metal furniture featuring a triquetra symbol adorning the tsuba [handguard], fuchi [sleeve], and kashira [pommel], white leather ito wrapped handle with black same [interior material] and gold dragon menuki [decorations] on both sides, measuring 40" x 3". Also included is a sheath constructed from wood wrapped in brown leather with white stitching along the spine, white leather ito wrapping along the top 14.5", and an adjustable brown leather shoulder strap connected with silver buckles, measuring 29.5" x 2". First appearing as a mysterious cloaked figure in the Season 2 Finale, "Beside the Dying Fire," the instant fan-favorite Michonne (Danai Gurira) has since become one of the most recognizable characters in the entire Walking Dead Universe. Always accompanying her is her signature katana, which she uses with lethal expertise to subdue not just Walkers, but any adversary that stands to harm her friends and family. This weapon is featured heavily throughout the series as well as spin-offs, including The Walking Dead Season 9, Episode 14, "Scars," when she slashes her way through a horde of Walkers to rescue Judith Grimes (Cailey Fleming). During her vicious fight, she is reminded of her harrowing escape from a trap laid by Jocelyn (Rutina Wesley) and her "children," all of whom a pregnant Michonne must tragically cut down in order to survive.
