Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Signature Angel Wings Vest from The Walking Dead (AMC 2010-2022). Original heavily distressed black leather vest with leather cord lacing on both sides and a green shoelace on the left side. The front has a 4-button snap closure with 2-pockets and a frayed hole in the top right chest. The back of the vest features 2-angel wings constructed of faded green-brown ripstop fabric that has been drawn on with ink and overlaid with black stitching to create the appearance of feathers. The lower right wing's fabric has ripped off, and the edges of both wings are frayed and unfinished. The entire vest is heavily studio-distressed, giving the leather a patina and leaving the edges with a worn brown finish. This iconic costume piece was worn by Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) throughout The Walking Dead, and it features a sleeveless biker-style cut, ideal for Daryl's mobility with his signature crossbow. Over time, the vest came to symbolize the character throughout the course of the series and his journey. The wings suggest a fallen angel or protector figure that Daryl slowly but surely embodies. Introduced as a loner with a tough exterior, he ultimately becomes a loyal guardian and an indispensable member of the group. Exhibits significant production wear and age, including studio distressing, staining, and soiling. The hole in the right chest is worn from the strap of the crossbow prop carried by the character.
