Batman Batmobile Model - 1st Issue (Aurora, 1966). This Batmobile model by Aurora from 1966 is the dark purple 1st issue version that was pulled because there was not enough contrast with the Batmobile on the artwork. It was quickly replaced by the 2nd issue box with the light blue background. The box is open with unused parts, decal sheet, and instructions.

More Information: Most parts are off the sprues. The box is solid with no tears or splits but the box paper was applied slightly crooked. The box is in great condition with a small crease at the top right corner, 2 small marks at the front of the Batmobile Artwork and some small spots of wear at the bottom corners. It is numbered Kit No. 486-98
