Waterworld (Universal, 1995), Jeanne Tripplehorn "Helen" Faux Whalebone Crossbow with Arrows. Original faux whalebone crossbow prop measuring 42" x 36.5" x 8.5", constructed of fiberglass, metal, twine, and other multimedia elements, including (9) arrows measuring approx. 32.5" x 2.5", constructed of lightweight wood, synthetic fletching, rubber shark tooth arrowheads, and material wrapping around the arrow shafts. Pieces have all been expertly painted and studio distressed to appear as bone and weathered components. Crossbow and arrows are featured during the film's explosive assault on the oasis atoll where Helen (Jeanne Tripplehorn) wields the crossbow to defend against the nefarious invaders known as "The Smokers". Pieces exhibit general production wear and age, including chipping and distress to paint. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
