Vintage group of (4) journals and personal effects belonging to the DeMille family including (1) leather-bound travel journal with travel receipts belonging to Cecil B. DeMille featuring 45+ pages with his handwritten entries from his 1931 trip to Europe, measuring 6.75" x 4.25", (1) leather bound address book (ca. 1910-1914) containing the notable entry of Jesse L. Lasky, measuring 4" x 2.5", and (1) embossed leather photo wallet with a pressed flower and handwritten note from Cecil, "'To the Unknown God' An Autumn Crocus from Mars Hill, Athens, October 9th, 1931 / To Ella from Cecil / Christmas 1931." measuring 4.25" x 3.25", and (1) leather bound diary belonging to Cecil's father, Henry C. de Mille (1878), measuring 4" x 2.5". Books exhibit age and general wear. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
