Henry DeMille Original School Desk Chair. Vintage wood writing desk chair with built-in desk and drawer, scooped seat, and spindle seat back measuring 38.25" x 31.5" x 47.75". Henry DeMille's original school chair was a popular design in the late 19th Century for school and home use. This elegant high-back chair, with wide desk surface worn from years of use, was kept within the DeMille estate for decades. Chair exhibits areas of wear on seat and desk, split desk panel, cracked spindle, and loose components. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
