The Ten Commandments (Paramount, 1956), Edith Head (Anne Baxter) "Nefretiri" Costume Sketch. Vintage artwork by Edith Head rendered in acrylic, gouache, and graphite on art board measuring 15" x 20". The iconic costume designer created the costumes for all of the female leads in the biblical epic, including this ensemble and cloak for Nefretiri (Anne Baxter). Artwork features scene annotations along with the signature of Head and DeMille's approval initials. Notes on verso reveal the estimated costs and where the costume would be seen: "for formal court occasion". Artwork exhibits production wear, staining, smudging, pin holes, edge wear, and duct tape on back. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
