Louis Armstrong Program And Two Signed LPs (circa 1950). The two records Louis Armstrong and the All Stars Volume 1 New Orleans Days (DL 5279) and Volume II Jazz Concert (DL 5280). Each has a yellow label applied to the center of side 1 which is signed in green ink "Best wishes Louis Armstrong" . Side 2 of both is similarly signed on a label by Jack Teagarden. The lot also includes a program for "Louis Armstrong and his Concert Group" , circa early 1950s. COA from Heritage Auctions.

More Information: Nat Singerman was a professional photographer and co-owner of Character Arts Photo Studio in Cleveland, Ohio during the 1940s and 1950s. During this period he met and befriended many jazz legends who performed at clubs in and around Cleveland. He was particularly close to Louis Armstrong who signed photographs for him as well as the LPs in this lot.
