Beatles Washington Coliseum Ticket Stub, Their First American Concert Appearance (1964). Some lucky fan used this $2.00 face value ticket to see the Beatles on February 11, 1964, in Washington, D.C. Just two days earlier, they had played live to America on the Ed Sullivan Show. The Beatles and their entourage traveled from New York to Washington by train due to an east coast snowstorm that grounded flights. They came on stage after opening acts Tommy Roe, Jay & The Americans, and the Righteous Brothers and played a dozen songs in front of 8,000+ enthusiastic fans who had braved several inches of snow to attend. The stub is 2.75" x 1.5" and in Good condition.
