Kiki's Delivery Service (Studio Ghibli, 1989), "Kiki" and "Tombo" Production Cel. Original hand-painted production 2-layer cel including (1) cel measuring 14" x 9" marked "C10" on the top right corner featuring a medium shot of the adventurous junior witch, Kiki, and (1) cel measuring 14" x 9" marked "0-817 B24" on the top right corner featuring Kiki's friend and aviator enthusiast, Tombo. Cels include 3-peg holes across the top edge. Studio Ghibli, founded in 1985 by the renowned animator and filmmaker, Hayao Miyazaki, is responsible for bringing to life some of the most beloved animated classics of all time. Known for their distinct and whimsical style, often featuring magical and spiritual undertones, Ghibli has made a definitive mark on the animation industry and brought their unique vision to the world. Included with the lot is printed countryside and cottage background measuring 14.25" x 10". Cels exhibit light production use and handling wear having become adhered together due to age and storage.
