Description

Paul Newman "Sidney J. Mussburger" Newton's Cradle Prop from Hudsucker Proxy (Polygram, 1994). Original Set-piece Newton's Cradle prop constructed of metal frame with deco-style finials affixed to a beveled wooden base and with 5-steel 1.25" ball bearings suspended from the frame by filament. Highly visible on "Mussburger's" (Newman's) desk in the film. With 2-ball bearings partially detached and 2-ball bearings are completely detached, but present. Exhibiting production wear, age, some oxidization and pitting to metal components, including ball bearings. In Good condition. Includes a Joel Silver signed LOA dated April 20, 2022. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
