Original prop featuring (1) aged leather-bound book with black and red text on spine and cover and 4-translucent parchment paper inserts with ornate calligraphy and artwork nestled between hundreds of interior blank pages measuring 15" x 10.5" x 2.5". Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) begins his labored research at the ancient Citadel in Season 7, Episode 1, "Dragonstone," culminating in his knowledge and understanding of Dragonglass. The book, "Dragonglass. A True Accounting of the Special Properties of Dragonglass Thereby Discounting Legend and Myth of the Same" by Maester Somers features in Season 8, Episode 1, "Winterfell" as part of the Winterfell library. Exhibits production wear and distressing (including leather wear/aging and tearing). Last page with text/artwork is stuck to page behind it with residue. Comes with a COA from HBO and Heritage Auctions.
