Maurice Binder Original Storyboard Title Sequence Artwork for You Only Live Twice (Eon Productions, 1967). Starting with Dr. No, title designer Maurice Binder set the tone for the opening sequences of James Bond films to follow with his signature "Bond-through-the-gun-barrel" and use of undulating female silhouettes and imagery. This lot consists of (7) illustration boards (measuring approximately 21.25" x 15") with panels ranging from 8.75" x 3.75" to 4.5" x 2", comprised of paste-up photographic art with color gel overlay depicting images of the female form and Asian imagery with stenciled letters and clear graphic overlays with round, web-like motif. Boards exhibit age and handling from production with missing panels and overlays, tape residue, edge war, staining and glue remnants with some delamination and creasing on gels.
