David Crosby Signed and Inscribed "Laughing" Reel Box With Reel (1968). A ½" x 7 ¼" x 7 ¼" box from Henry Russell & Associates "Musicommercials" on 8425 Melrose Ave in Hollywood featuring a handwritten note to Eric Clapton from David Crosby in ballpoint pen ink. The ink color has faded, but appears to be originally black. Note reads on the back:

"Eric:

I miss you, man

Hope you're all right

Also hope you still like this

I'm splitting to the boat tonight

I'll try and write or contact you

Somehow when I return. Give a good

Hello to Jack & Ginger.

I will see you

David"

Box has considerable tears and creasing, along with tape in the upper right corner and toning. Reel housed inside the box measures 7" in diameter. The tape takes up only a quarter of the size. Overall, in Very Good condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
