Collection of (15+) Assorted Pieces from "Huey", "Dewey" and "Louie" Robot Costumes from Silent Running (Universal, 1972). Vintage original collection of (15+) robot parts, including legs, constructed of mixed media materials from resins, metals and plastics. Varying in sized from 2" to 16.5" x 4.25". This environmentally-themed Sci-Fi film was the directorial debut of visual effects wizard Douglas Trumbull. The three service robots, nicknamed Huey, Dewey and Louie, were operated by multiple amputee actors and played a central role to the film's plot.
