Description

Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (Paramount, 1989), Pair of USS Enterprise Turbolift Shaft Deck Signs. Original pair of gray-painted, high-density fiberboard signs with rounded corners, each measuring 19" x 32" and featuring futuristic Federation-approved fonts reading "Deck 15" and "Deck 16." Created as set dressing for the sequence aboard the newly commissioned USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-A) where Spock (Leonard Nimoy), wearing rocket boots, rescues Dr. McCoy (DeForest Kelley) and Captain Kirk (William Shatner) in the turbolift shaft. These signs are not seen in the final edit of the film. Each has a central screw hole at the top, and exhibits light separation of the wood layers, flaking paint around the edges, and adhesive residue on the reverse. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
