Batman, Robin, & Penguin All-Plastic Assembly Kits (Aurora, 1964-67). A trio of Gotham's finest-and foulest-steps off the comic page and onto your shelf with this vintage lot of Aurora all-plastic assembly kits, released between 1964 and 1967. Capturing the colorful charm of the Silver Age, this set includes the Batman model kit (#467-149, dated 1964), the Robin the Boy Wonder kit (#488-98, dated 1966), and the Penguin kit (#416-100, dated 1967), each housed in its original box. The Robin kit remains factory sealed in its original cellophane, while the Penguin kit is unassembled, with parts removed from the sprues and traces of cellophane still clinging to the side, top, and bottom panels. The Batman kit has been partially assembled, with remaining pieces left unbuilt for display or restoration. The boxes show expected signs of age, including edge and corner wear. The Batman box displays whitening at the corners, a small pinhole in the bottom panel, and light creasing and scuffing on the top. The Penguin box has more pronounced wear, with overall surface scuffing, a noticeable dent, and creasing in the lower right corner of the bottom panel. Additionally, the bottom right side of the Penguin box has a tear and is slightly separated. A nostalgic lineup that reflects the iconic style and enduring appeal of Aurora's classic superhero kits.
