Three Bites of the Apple (MGM, 1967), Original Poster Artwork by Ron Lesser. Vintage original painting by Ron Lesser for use on the theatrical release poster of 1967's Three Bites of the Apple. Lesser's artwork also appeared on such recognizable posters as High Plains Drifter (1973), Zardoz (1974), and The Wind and the Lion (1975). In this earlier work, his style is clearly influenced by the iconic poster artist Robert McGinnis. Mixed media on board, measuring 17" x 23". Words are overlays. Light toning, small scuffs, and other small faults. Presents attractively. Poster is for reference only and is not included in the Lot. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
