The Miracles Hi . . . We're the Miracles Vinyl LP (Tamla, TM-220, 1961). A rare copy of the 11-song debut LP from the original line-up of the Miracles (later known as Smokey Robinson and the Miracles). Featuring the tunes "Shop Around," "Money" (the Barrett Strong tune, which was covered by the Beatles), and "Who's Lovin' You." The members of the group were William "Smokey" Robinson, Bobby Rogers, Claudette Rogers Robinson (Smokey's wife at the time), Pete Moore, Ronnie White, and Marv Tarplin (who is not pictured on the front cover). Claudette only toured with them in the beginning as the only female. Early on, their label pushed female vocalists and female groups. Sleeve is in EX 7 condition (with a 1 ½" seam repair in the lower bottom right and ¼" top right seam split), and the disc is in EX 7.5 condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
