Vintage first edition book of short stories and essays Red Dirt Marijuana and Other Tastes (1967) by Terry Southern, inscribed by Jane Fonda, who also appears on the cover. The interior page is signed by Fonda and addressed to Southern's son, reading, "Nile / Stay strong / Jane Fonda." Also included is a white-ink cover mockup featuring an alternate spelling of the title's drug reference and a signed photo of Fonda in her iconic Barbarella costume, posthumously inscribed to Southern: "To Terry / With love always and thanks for all your good words / [heart] / Jane Fonda." Southern wrote the screenplay for Barbarella (1968), which launched a creative friendship with Fonda and became her breakout role and a pop culture milestone.
