Varys (Conleth Hill) Royal Wedding Kimono from Game of Thrones (HBO® Original 2011-2019, Season 3). Original (2) piece character costume including (1) gray and brown asymmetrical wrap kimono with purple velvet sleeves and purple print on gold slubbed silk body with gold raw silk lining and (1) brown leather belt with assorted silver and brass stud pieces (with "Varys DBL" bias label). Lord Varys (Conleth Hill) wears this formal kimono at Tyrion Lannister's (Peter Dinklage) and Sansa Stark's (Sophie Turner) royal wedding in Season 3, Episode 8, "Second Sons." Designer Michele Clapton designed the kimono to reflect Varys' unique position at court, explaining, "Varys' costumes are meant to be luxurious yet understated, highlighting his role as a whisperer and manipulator." Conleth Hill appreciated the detailed costume, stating, "Wearing Varys' robes helped me embody his enigmatic and calculating nature." Exhibits production wear and discoloration.
