Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (ABC TV, 1964-1968), Flying Sub Miniature Replica. Replica stingray-inspired miniature is constructed of fiberglass and painted yellow, adorned with a pair of blue stripes running along the body and tail. Features an inset "turbine" and a vacuum-formed "hatch" on both the top and bottom. The front of the craft has a recessed area, outlined in blue, housing 2-central "viewing windows" flanked by metal panels with grates and ring and cross bar "lights." The rear is equipped with silver painted grating and a vacuum-formed "pressure hatch," though the wheel is broken. This replica of the iconic flying sub is a close facsimile of the one used in the Irwin Allen classic TV show. Measures approx. 38" x 33.5" x 9". Exhibiting some age, chipping, scuffing, soiling, and heavy discoloration. Special shipping arrangements will apply. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
