Batman Helicopter & Mobile Bat Lab (Empire/Mego, 1975-77). A dynamic duo of vintage Batman vehicles takes center stage in this lot, showcasing bold 1970s design from two classic toy makers, Mego and Empire. First is the 1975 Mego Batman Mobile Bat Lab, a crime-fighting command van scaled for 8-inch figures, equipped with a secret front-end Foe-Catcher, a rear winch with Bat-grappling hook, and a revolving Bat-platform designed for rooftop surveillance and spy missions. Joining it is the 1977 Empire Batman Helicopter, a massive over two-foot-long chopper featuring a real turning rotor, flip-up windshield, and a bold Batman decal across the rear wing. The Mobile Bat Lab displays surface scratching, scuffing, rear creasing, and visible aging. Its original packaging shows edge and corner wear, surface folding, creasing, dents, tears, and scuffing. The Batman Helicopter packaging also shows handling wear with corner bends, creases, dents, and surface scratching throughout. These two vintage pieces capture the oversized ambition and imaginative style that made 1970s Batman toys unforgettable.
