Moe Howard Personal Event Invitations (ca. 1930s). A pair of two vintage original event invitations personally owned by comedy icon Moe Howard: 1) gold foil-embossed invitation from Louis B. Mayer to Marie Dressler's sixty-second anniversary dinner at MGM studios on November 9, 1933; measures 5.5" x 3.25", exhibits wear, handling and mild toning. 2) a "Knockout Dinner" invite from Leo Morrison for a Max Baer event, dated Wednesday, August 29 at 7:30 PM (no year given); measures 6.75" x 5.5", opens to blank inside, shows mild toning, soiling and horizontal folds, while back shows small areas of loss at two corners.
